FUTURE
IS MADE OF
WOOD.

Wood is not only a natural raw material, but also unrivalled and incredibly diverse. It has been growing right on our doorstep in the beautiful Black Forest for centuries. For over 130 years, we have been producing quality wood from silver fir and spruce for a wide variety of applications. State-of-the-art technology, an experienced team and a raw material that could not be better – this is not only the basis of our success, but also the satisfaction of our customers. We supply products such as solid wood panels, three-layer panels, panelling, solid wood panels and much more to customers in Germany, Europe and as far afield as Japan. We produce high-quality, knot-free products from regional heavy timber logs. We have state-of-the-art production facilities and can therefore respond flexibly to customer requirements. We look forward to supporting your project with our expertise.

DOES MORE: THE SILVER FIR FROM THE BLACK FOREST.

Nowhere in Germany are there more silver firs than in the Black Forest. At home here for centuries, people have managed to find a balance between utilising and reforesting the silver fir stands. As a result, silver fir provides valuable wood, the utilisation of which makes ecological and economic sense thanks to the short distances involved. Compared to spruce, silver fir has advantages that make its wood particularly suitable.

No resin, no problem.

Because silver fir is completely resin-free, there are no resin veins or resin pockets in the wood. This makes surface treatment easier and ensures the highest quality wood for indoor and outdoor use.

Outstanding as a construction timber.

Silver fir wood is very resilient due to its high strength, which makes it perfect for constructions of all kinds and guarantees a long service life.

Elegant wood, timeless appearance.

Light-coloured and matt white, silver fir wood is particularly elegant and ensures the best living climate, especially at home. It can also be harmoniously combined with glass, steel, concrete and stone and is resistant to sunlight. Compared to spruce, it darkens significantly less.

Impregnable weather-resistant.

Do you want to finish the wood and use oils or waxes for this? No problem, because silver fir wood has a high impregnation capacity. Treating the wood makes it weather-resistant and therefore often used for exterior façades, balconies and pergolas.

We are certified with the PEFC seal for wood products from
sustainably managed forests.

There is a lot of softwood in the Black Forest.

This is not only due to tradition, but also to the fact that we attach great importance to sustainable timber management here. Silver fir and spruce are among the most available trees, which is why we have specialised in processing them. In close co-operation with the forestry industry around Nordrach and beyond, we ensure that local wood is processed in a sensible and resource-saving way. Thanks to our regional ties and the well-known sources of raw materials, which have often been developed over many years, we ensure that forest management is natural and sustainable. Another advantage: our wood is characterised by its tight annual ring structure. This also ensures first-class results in further processing.
